In 1999 two sisters started ‘Bibi Alhaja Bijoux’, a new and different selection of jewellery. Nowadays, Bibi Alhaja Bijoux has developed into an international brand with a comprehensive collection. All items are still handcrafted in their own studio in the Netherlands. Always surprising and trendy. The designs evolve from human hands rather than from a drawing board. The sisters get their inspiration by the smallest things. That could be anything, a lost charm or an antique necklace... Creative processes can not be rushed. Down to the very last moment the items get reshaped and improved. Forever and always with the proud owner in mind. ‘Alhaja’ is Moorish for ‘specially made for you’ and that’s what Bibi Bijoux is all about. In every collection there is always an item of which you’ll think, this is specialy made for me...
